Two and a Half Hats: Spring Beanie

Our Story

When my mother was recently diagnosed with Non Hodgkins Lymphoma I knew that she would have a very long road ahead of her. What I didn't realize was what a difficult time it would be for anyone to lose all of their hair during chemotherapy. This was the beginning of Two and a Half Hats. I returned to a skill my grandmother had taught me many moons ago. I began to crochet hats for my mother to wear to keep her beautiful head warm during the cold Indiana winters. My daughters soon began requesting hats for my two grandsons Jarrett and Jamison. My oldest daughter had also recently learned that she was expecting a baby girl so of course I made her many many hats before she had even entered into this crazy world. She is the perfect little half to our Two and a Half Hats!!!
